This is Morgan Barron, our grand prize winner. She wrote her
delightful story and then rewrote it over thirty times--creating an
entry that seemed vastly more mature than her eight years. On the
other hand, she's won a number of writing contests, and I'm sure
she'll be winning them for years to come. She put her $600 into her
Utah College Savings Fund. Smart girl! The lady standing with Morgan and I is the First Lady of Utah, Mary
Kaye Huntsman, who is a strong advocate for literacy.
